The ankle Alison had on in last week episode had a charm which said “A”. When spencer asked where she got it from Alison said someone special gave it to her and she isn’t taking it off. I think that the ankle was the thing that the parents used to tell the twins apart. “A” for Alison. “C” for courtney. It makes sense because Alison said she was never going to take it off, because if she did the parents might get the hint that she isn’t the real Alison. She also said someone special gave it to her (I think she stole it from the other twin).
